About Bookable

Bookable is a marketplace for home and local services in the Philippines. Customers book providers; providers set their own services, prices and hours. Providers are independent: they aren't Bookable's employees or agents, and each is responsible for the work they do.

Your account

You need an account to book or to offer services. Use your real name and an email you check, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if someone else gets into your account. You must be 18 or older, or have a parent's or guardian's permission.

Booking and paying

Every booking is confirmed straight away, at the price shown at checkout. Bookable takes no commission: the Bookable fee is ₱0.00, and providers keep the full price. A booking made through ASAP adds the provider's Express fee, which they keep too. While Bookable is a demo, payments are simulated and no real money moves.

Cancelling and moving a booking

  • A booking you paid for is refunded in full if you cancel 72 hours or more before it starts, or within 1 hour of booking.
  • Inside 72 hours you can still cancel, but without a refund.
  • You can move a booking that is 72 hours or more away.
  • A provider can cancel any time before the start, with a reason, and you get a full refund.
  • If you pay in person, two late cancellations or no-shows within 90 days mean paying when you book for a while.

Providers

Keep your profile, services, prices, hours and where you work accurate, and do the work you were booked for, at the time booked. To get the Verified badge you take a live selfie and a photo of a government ID, which our team compares by hand. We may disable a profile that misleads customers or breaks these terms.

Reviews

Only the customer of a completed booking can review it, once, within 30 days. Reviews must be honest and about the service. We may hide a review that is abusive, shares someone's personal information or isn't about the service; a hidden review doesn't count in the provider's rating.

What isn't allowed

Don't use Bookable to deceive, harass or harm anyone, to book or offer anything illegal, to collect other people's information, or to interfere with how Bookable works.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from your Account page once you have no bookings still to come. We remove your personal information as the Privacy Policy explains. Bookings, payments and reviews the other side relies on stay, under “Former customer” or “Former provider”.

Responsibility

The agreement for a service is between the customer and the provider. As far as Philippine law allows, Bookable isn't responsible for how a provider does the work, or for loss that comes from it. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394).

Changes and the law

If we change these terms we'll post the new version here and email you before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines.
